Doctor Doom
- Doctor Doom is a human from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Doctor Doom is the rightful King of Latveria! The sworn nemesis of that accursed Reed Richards, Doom has combined magic and science to a degree that overrated fool never even dreamed of. Doom wears a suit of metal, and excels at designing Doombots, to confuse his enemies as to his activities and whereabouts.

IDW Generation 1 continuity
Doctor Doom discovered the Decepticons had built a dome in the old country. Unwilling to have his people destroyed by mere machinery, Doom attempted to remove their presence with an army of Doombots, but alas, we were overwhelmed and they captured the Psycho-Prism, a device that can drive a sane man mad.
The Avengers and Autobots arrived to investigate, but their ignorance led them to waste time by combating each other. Doom took matters into his own hands and broke Wolverine's Decepticon-induced rage, clarifying matters for the useless teams, and left, telling them Doom was to broker peace with Symkaria. Man and Machine, Part Two
But Doom had deceived them, having allied with the Decepticons to let him rule the planet after they devastated it. When the heroes failed to surrender despite an ultimatum from Doom and Megatron, Megatron took out his frustration on your King, shocking him into unconsciousness! Man and Machine, Part Three
No mere alien robot could keep Doom down for long, and he showed just how important this alliance was by shocking Astrotrain. He led Wolverine to destroy the Psycho-Prism, while insulting and making his allies feel generally worthless. Man and Machine, Part Four
Crossovers
When Richards and Stark started constructing giant transforming battlesuits for himself and other superheroes, Doctor Doom responded by creating his own ones for Venom and Carnage.[1]
Notes
- Doctor Doom was actually in Hell when New Avengers/Transformers took place (Doom escaped). Confused commoners may chalk this disrepancy to Doom's replicas.
- Doom once battled that idiotic hanger-on of the Autobots, Combat Colin! (And he lost, which was so humiliating that Doom wondered if he could beat up Thomas the Tank Engine.) Colin was aware that both of them are characters in comics.[2] Even Doom doesn't know what this means for Transformers/Marvel Universe continuity!
