Buster Witwicky and his friends were watching a movie at the Community Drive-In when they were rear-ended by a yellow Beetle. Shortly after, a group of jets arrived, along with a homicidal tape deck, which transformed into giant robots, and began duking it out with four other robots that had been disguised as cars.
