My Name is Smoothjazz and I recently joined the wiki, hence why I have NO IDEA how to make working links or pictures despite reading the instructions on the editing help page (I was never on reading things like that). Despite not buying comics or toys I believe I have a considerably good knowledge of Transformers, given my resources.

The reason I don't have many toys or comics? The first Transformers cartoon I watched was Energon. Yeah, it seemed I was doomed. But alas, I escaped the clutches of terrible animation and dull surprise to acquire the Transformers G1 Season 2 Box-set! This made transformers for me (It was season two and I was incredibly young so I had no idea about Perceptor, Blaster, Warpath, Tracks and others 'being there the whole time').

Here are my quick reviews of all continuities:

G1 - TV Series: Favourite Characters: Optimus Prime, Tracks, Blaster, Jazz, Hound, Ultra Magnus (He's movie and onwards but YOU can deal with that now!) Perceptor, Wheeljack, Grimlock (Dinobots in general), Ratchet, Nightbeat, Megatron, Soundwave (wish he had even more cassettes from the comics into the series), Starscream, Shockwave, Blitzwing, Astro Train, Scorponok (IDW Comic Version), Overlord (IDW Comic Version)

Worst Characters: Windcharger (Don't know why), Brawn (Don't know why), Blurr (Wouldn't shut up), Springer (Han Solo-impersonator), Daniel Witwicky (STOP CRYING!), Huffer (I wanted him and Gears MAULED in the film, torn limb-from-limb), Gears, Wheelie (Kill me now), Omega Supreme (Mainly because he was never there - giant freaking robot just lets his mates get killed. DOUCHE)

Rating: 5* (Seasons 1-2) 4* (Movie - I kinda liked the deaths but the disappearing act annoyed me. I heard there was an idea of the pre-movie bots destroying some tower or something on Unicron or Cybertron), 1* (Season 3)

General Review: The original. Like all transformers series it was a series of adverts, but hey, this is the TFWiki. So many concepts and ideas and characters, enough to make me nerdgasm. OPTIMUS PRIME!!! MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP!!! UNICRON!!! EVERY CHARACTER EXCEPT THE ONES LISTED ABOVE IN THE WORST CHARACTERS SECTION!!! FEMALE AUTOBOTS!!! JAZZ!!! COMBINERS!!! EVERYTHING!!!

Beast Wars

Favourite Characters: Rattrap (later on), Rhinox, Dinobot, Optimus Primal (Optimal Optimus only), Waspinator, Megatron, Rampage

Worst Characters: Cheetor (if it weren't for copyright/trademark, it's pretty obvious that he would have been a bee), Tigatron (DUNNO)

Rating: 5*

General Review: Who didn't love Beast Wars? After the initial shock, of course. Trukk not Munky didn't matter after the first few episodes and the visual detail was stunning. Good storylines and a load of G1 references to boot (CGI Versions look amazing!) made Beast Wars epic.

Robots in Disguise

Favourite Characters: Nobody

Worst Characters: Everybody

Rating: -100000000000000000000000000000000*

General Review: I hated Robots in Disguise. It was a terrible reboot. They tried to combine Beast Wars with G1 and got Transmutate.

Armada

General Review: I don't know about Armada but I heard it had a slow start and got better as it progressed. I never really watched it.

Energon

Favourite Characters: Inferno (Until Reformatting), Megatron (Very, very cool - design wasn't but that voice)

Worst Characters: Ironhide (Dull surprise much?), Kicker (Prime should have kicked him off the planet), Optimus Prime (Fattymus Prime, surprised his toy wasn't a brick)

Rating: 2* (The music was cool)

General Review: Poor animation, lack of effort, defeating Unicron twice just to get in some repaints but the music was good. Inferno was cool until Roadblock. The hero's death was spoiled when he said 'I'll be back'. I mean WTF?

Cybertron

Favourite Characters: Scattershot (The billion missiles tipped my favour), Jetfire (The accent) and Red Alert (dunno why)

Worst Characters: Megatron's design (MEGATRON SHOULD NOT BE A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Rating: 3*

General Reviews: It was okay but the continuation from Energon was as faulty as the Armada-Energon one, Galvatron turns back into Megatron and becomes Galvatron (FACEPALM)

Animated

General Review: A lot of references to past series but a bit childish for my liking. Plus I hate what they did for Soundwave.

Movies

General Review: Spectacular special effects and sexy ladies ruined by Optimus' head fetish, the childish comedy segments, the numerous plot-holes, Starscream's lack of treachery, Soundwave's weird mouth, the Matrix being a dagger, Stereotypical twins, poor plots and disappearing characters between films (Leo Spitz, Maggie Madsen, Glenn Whittaker, Megan Fox).

Prime

General Review: Thank you God! Finally good visuals combined with story-telling at a quality that was last seen with Beast Wars. I love it, watch every episode.

Creativity

I make a lot of OC's and I'm going to come of sounding idiotic for some things that I claim. I write fan-fiction and in one of my prototypes I thought of something like Dark Energon but never thought of a name for it so I didn't use it. When trying to think of Gestalt names I thought of Monstructor but found it was already done (To be honest, it's a simplistic name).

Fan-Fiction

I write fan-fiction and have yet to post any stories but when I do I shall enclose the link. On this page I will be doing notes when I can for anyone who cares to read my fan-fiction. Why I do this is unclear because I will probably not have a lot a readers and even less will be on here but it keeps me content.
