I don't really see the resemblance, myself, beyond the fact that a glow-y line comes out of them. I mean, one's an electricity gun and the other's an energy whip. Given that the 'Magnus's gun locker' weapons lack official names and descriptions I'd argue that they probably aren't deserving of articles any more than, say, Arcee's transform-y hand guns do... Maybe a joint article, or a mention on the ship's page, but that'd probably warrant a discussion. Jalaguy 16:40, 3 August 2013 (EDT)

Looking at Rebellion, the energy whip seems to come out of a small thing which is little more than a handle, so even the device itself doesn't look like the TechVolt. There's no resemblance there at all. --abates 17:27, 3 August 2013 (EDT)
