Abominus (Prime)
From MediaWiki
| This article is about the Predacon combiner from Beast Hunters. For the Decepticon combiner from Generation 1, see Abominus (G1). For a list of other meanings, see Abominus (disambiguation). |
- Abominus is a Predacon Combiner from the Aligned continuity family.

The combined form of five cloned Predacons, Abominus is the end result of Shockwave's questionably logical hypothesis that giving dangerous prehistoric creatures the ability to merge into a bigger dangerous prehistoric creature might make them easier to control. Instead, Abominus is an unstoppable engine of destruction with enormous power. Who could have predicted that?
He is the combined form of:
- Hun-Gurrr (leader[1])
- Blight
- Rippersnapper
- Twinstrike
- Windrazor
Toys
Beast Hunters
- Twinstrike (Cyberverse Legion, 2013)
- Hun-Gurrr (Cyberverse Legion, 2013)
- Windrazor (Cyberverse Legion, 2013)
- Predacon Rippersnapper (Cyberverse Legion, 2013)
- Blight (Cyberverse Legion, 2013)
- Accessories: Piston Hammer, Dragontooth Saw, Tornado Bow, Electrocharge Bow, Affliction Hammer
- While this combination is not documented in their instructions, Prime: Beast Hunters Abominus is formed by combining the five Predacons, which were available separately in the first three waves of Series 3 Cyberverse Legion Class toys. Officially, Hun-Gurrr forms the torso, Twinstrike forms the left arm, Windrazor forms the right arm, Predacon Rippersnapper forms the right leg, and Blight forms the left leg, although similar to a Scramble City combiner, the limb components can be switched around. Their individual weapons can combine in many different ways to form a large weapon for Abominus to wield via 3mm post.

- Abominus (Giftset, 2013)
- Accessories: Dragontooth Saw, Tornado Bow, Electrocharge Bow, Piston Hammer, Affliction Hammer
- Part of the Beast Hunters: Predacons Rising subline imprint, Abominus is a giftset of Cyberverse Hun-Gurrr, Windrazor, Predacon Rippersnapper, Twinstrike, and Blight, slightly redecoed by way of translucent plastic replacing a main color of each character, as well as translucent purple weapons.
- The back of the packaging mistakenly switches their names, resulting in Hun-Gurr getting Twinstrike's name, Windrazor getting Hun-Gurrr's, Rippersnapper getting Windrazor's, and Twinstrike being called "Predacon Rippersnapper". Guess Blight got lucky.
- This set is a Target exclusive in the United States and Canada, and a Tesco exclusive in the United Kingdom.
Footnotes
- ↑ According to the toys' Tech Specs, Rippersnapper outranks Hun-Gurrr by a considerable margin—7 to 2. However, a guidebook states that Hun-Gurrr "seems to take a leadership role among some of the other Predacons".
