Dinosaur transform static

Dinosaur Transform Static is, apparantly, a variety of electical residue that results when a Transformer with a Dinosaur Alternate mode transforms. Skylynx has it too, apparantly.

Grimlock can smell the stuff, apparantly. And it was his ability to do so that implicated Trypticon in the theft of several National Monuments.
