This article is about the Autobot from Generations. For the Autobot from Generation 1, see Twin Twist.
Twintwist is an Autobot from the Aligned continuity family.
Calgon, take him away.

Twintwist is one of the last Transformers you'd expect to see fighting for the Autobots. He sometimes seems to be less an individual and more a metal box of seething rage. Maybe Optimus Prime is willing to give anyone a chance. Maybe Megatron has already turned him down. In any case, as much as his teammates hate having him around the base, where he is a bottomless well of antagonism, they love having him by their sides as they rush into battle, because even among the Wreckers, Twintwist stands out as a pitiless killing machine.

He combines with several of the other Wreckers to form Ruination.

Part of the fourth wave of 2012-onwards Generations Deluxe Class toys, Fall of Cybertron Twintwist is a gray-ish blue and charcoal gray redeco and retool of Fall of Cybertron Decepticon Brawl, with a new head sculpt based on Generation 1 Twin Twist. He transforms into a Cybertronian hover tank with a twin-barreled turret, and unlike most other Transformers toys with tank alternate modes, Twintwist sports no wheels whatsoever.
Twintwist comes with a rifle, which can peg via 5mm post onto the peg-hole between the turret cannons in tank mode. He also comes with a brand new twin drill weapon which spins when the gray cannon on top is pushed, and can also peg on top of the tank turret, with the rifle being attached on top of the drill. In robot mode, Twintwist can hold both weapons with his 5mm-compatible hands.
In addition to his robot and vehicle modes, Twintwist can also combine with his fellow Wreckers into Ruination and serve as any of the gestalt robot's four limbs, though his official configuration is either the right arm (shown in the instructions) or the left arm (shown in stock photos.) Twintwist gains four 5mm peg-holes on his fingers and forearms in his arm mode, and the rifle can be combined with the other Wreckers' weapons into a huge "phase cannon" for Ruination to wield.
The original version of this mold was also used to make Generation 2 Decepticon Brawl.
