Why did my "real life reference" get deleted? The phrase "awkward..." is used in other pop-culture movies! I believe it was first used in the movie Hoodwinked. (Not the word itself, but using it as a funny phrase by itself.) People walk around saying it all the time. Enough I think to include it. - SoundWave 00:16, 19 October 2013 (EDT)
