"S.O.S. Dinobots"
Release date September 11, 2013
September 17, 2013

Optimus Prime has fallen, but Grimlock shall rise! His first target: the Seekers.
Poor Seekers.

Me Grimlock king!Grimlock seizes command of the Autobots

Synopsis

Obliteration threatens as the tattered Autobots are forced to defend Autobot City's human population with no leader to rally them. Grimlock siezes the opportunity and declares himself to be King of the Autobots and leads his Dinobots in a 5-robot assault on the Decepticon invaders to rescue the Autobots. Devastator is the first to fall[1] before Grimlock directs his Dinobots against the Seekers.

Grimlock berates his disorganized forces with a cry of "Dinobots, no fool around!" to get them to rescue a group of Autobots pinned down by the firepower of Sunstorm.

Skywarp attempts to break the Autobots rally by teleporting around the Dinobots while alternately attacking and taunting them, but he only manages to enrage Grimlock who manages to pounce upon him in mid-air while shouting that no, he is the one who is dumb and ugly! Thundercracker attempts the same tactic while staking from a safe distance but Swoop manages to drag him to the ground. Despite the attempt to halt the Dinobot offensive or split them up, the five carve a wide path through the Decepticon attackers.

Grimlock triumphant.

You play as the Autobots.
Campaign Bosses Raid cards Rank-reward cards

Notes

  • Two new features were added to the game in conjunction with this event (but not part of the event itself:
    • Bonuses and rewards given to players who log in every day for several days in a row, including a Swoop card given in two halves
    • A multi-level-marketing "invite a friend" feature where you receive in-game rewards for signing up a certain number of friends, including a Hot Rod Rodimus card.
  • This was week 2 of the "September to Remember" month-long theme event.
plz captshun me
  • Ruby medals were again given as rewards for defeating bosses and could be used to purchase raid cards... but were only half as valuable as the previous "campaign" event, requiring a lot more gameplay. Grimlock, who could be purchased this way was an R5 (the rarest and most powerful type in the game), another first.
  • This event was plagued by minor errors which (mostly) did not affect gameplay but which required a series of updates to be pushed out on the game (something which usually doesn't happen during campaign events), including: card mis-matches in the login-bonus system, failure to receive the Rodimus card for bribing your friends into playing, trans-scan bonuses sometimes not working (this one wasn't minor!) and mis-displaying stats. To cap it off: see next item
  • An internal error caused the ending text of the episode not to display. The same thing happened during the previous Dinobot-themed event.
  • This event was of the "dungeon crawl" style, and thus sucked.
