Stentarian
- The Stentarians are a race of mechanical beings from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Eerily similar to the Cybertronians, the Stentarians are a race of transforming and combining robots. Sixteen million years ago, the Stentarian race split apart into two factions — the Heroic Terradores and the Evil Ammonites — and they have been at war ever since.

The Stentarians were aware of the Transformers' war and the Ammonites went so far as to post undercover operatives within the Autobot army, such as "Paddox" who was serving as first officer aboard Thunderclash's Vis Vitalis.
When a squad of Ammonites led by 16444/9 were being pursued by the Terradorian Imperial guard, they tried to lay low on Hedonia and buy a new ship to throw the Terradores off their trail. They met the Autobots Whirl, Skids and Rewind in Mondo's bar there, but a Terradorian warcruiser carrying their leader Imperius Drax landed outside so Whirl decided to bring sixteen million years of war to an end by killing him.
This assassination threw the Terradores into disarray and the Ammonites reorganised for a big push to end the war once and for all, recalling all of their deep cover agents. Now aboard the Lost Light with Thunderclash, Paddox revealed his true Ammonite nature and attempted to seize control of the ship, intending to steal its superior quantum engines for the Ammonites but was defeated when Swerve caught him unawares and knocked him senseless with Rung's alternate mode. Notes
- An event during the Stentarian war known as the Great Shattering prompted the formation of the Galactic Council.
- Although the Lost Light's quantum engines are better than anything the Ammonites have, in other areas the Stentarians are technologically ahead of the Cybertronians — all of the Ammonites are "omnicombinational" and they have ten-changing "Decabots".
