This article is about the Aligned-universe data-disc-bot. For the Generation 1 cassettebot, see Eject (G1).
Let's see what you can see...

Specifics: toys
He is unquestionably ready for some football.
Eject is an Autobot from the Aligned continuity family.

Eject is an idealist. He believes that if the Autobots and Decepticons could simply institute some form of officiated nonlethal competition between them, then maybe they could bring this whole war thing to an end.

This causes disagreement with his teammate Ramhorn, who'd rather just stab people.

Yay sports! Do the thing, win the points!
  • Eject & Ramhorn (Legends Class, 2012)
    • Series / number: 01 / 003
    • Accessories: Disc case
Part of the second wave of Generations Legends Class toys, Fall of Cybertron Eject is a retool of the Rumble/Frenzy mold, and partially transforms from a "data disc" into a humanoid robot via a spring-loaded process that is triggered when a button on his underside is pressed. He is designed to interact with the Voyager Class Blaster mold, able to store within the larger figure's chest compartment and to be launched out of it, automatically transforming as he does so. He comes with a translucent plastic case with a silver Autobot sigil which can be used to store him in disc mode.
Eject uses the same "circuit board" pattern as the other three humanoid data discs, but like the other three, has been mirrored in a way to give each one a unique orientation to the pattern.
Due to his construction, Eject has little to no posability, and the fact there is nothing to lock his feet into the proper position renders standing alone very difficult for him.
He was only available in a two-pack with Ramhorn. This version of this mold was also used to make Rewind from the same line.

  • Autobot Data Disc Set (multipack, 4-27-2013)
    • Japanese ID number: TG15
    • Accessories: Disc case
This version of Eject is largely identical to the Hasbro version, but there are a few minor paint differences. He's had silver added to his fists to make them more like his Generation 1 namesake. His circuit board pattern is in the same orientation as the Hasbro version (also the orientation used for the TakaraTomy Rewind), but the blue and silver have swapped places. Finally, his disc case has a red Autobot symbol on it instead of the Hasbro silver.
He was only available as part of a four-disc set with Sunder, Rewind and Ramhorn.

Notes

  • The gold/silver symbols on the Hasbro-release Autobot data discs' cases are a callback to how their Generation 1 incarnations could come with either silver or gold chromed weapons.
