• Universe, and
• Generations,

and sometimes also

• Gentei,
• Exclusives,
• United, and/or
• Reveal The Shield

These toylines overlap in terms of when they were available and what molds they used. The abbreviation CHUG and its variants are most often used to describe modernized toys of characters from the Generation 1 continuity family, and is sometimes used to describe toys repurposed as characters from said continuity, official or otherwise.
