The Decepticons infected the Autobots at Autobot City with a deadly nanovirus that only Targetmasters, Headmasters, and Drift were able to resist. To cure the Autobots, Nebulan scientist Zella created an anti-virus, and a force led by Ricochet was sent to Nebulos to retrieve it.
