A week after Bernie got out of prison, Vegas PD officer Ryan O'Brien saw him casing the same store he was busted for robbing last time.

Buzzsaw, in his newly acquired role assisting the police department, also saw him. Buzzsaw hovered menacingly above Bernie, conspicuously watching him as the streetlights glinted off his micro-serrated beak.
