Last Spark is a fortified underground Autobot town, and one of the few remaining bastions of civilization on a devastated Cybertron.

When a mysterious predator began to slaughter the people of Last Spark for their energon, Firestar sought the aid of Grimlock's Dinobots in Iacon in defiance of the town's commander Airwave. Sludge and Snarl went to investigate, and were able to eliminate local groups of Insecticons and Forged soldiers as the culprits. Beast Hunters issue 1 Ultimately, the predator was revealed to be Airwave himself, and despite his attempts to turn suspicion on the Dinobots, he was slain, Beast Hunters issue 2 and his body tossed unceremoniously onto the town's scrap heap.

The town was later invaded by strange monsters bred by Shockwave. Beast Hunters issue 3 When Cybertron was revived by the power of the Omega Lock, the ensuing planet-wide quakes destroyed Last Spark, killing most of its population.
