What the hell does "Cha la head cha la" even mean?

Hironobu Kageyama (影山 ヒロノブ Kageyama Hironobu; born February 18, 1961) is a Japanese rock star. He is very popular in the world of cartoon theme songs, having performed some of the most memorable of all time. Among many others, he has done "Cha-La Head Cha-La" and "We Gotta Power" for Dragon Ball Z, "Stardust Memory" for Super Cavalry Southern Cross, "Soldier Dream" for Saint Seiya, "Sonic Drive" for Sonic X with Hideaki Takatori, the Japanese-language version of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" for Rocky IV and "Power Up Turtle" for the Japanese Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anime OVA.

He is also the current leader (and main lyrics composer) for the Japanese anime supergroup JAM Project (which also includes ex-member Ichirō Mizuki, who sung the Zone opening, and Hiroshi Kitadani, who sung Super Link's opening).
