Zape is an ape from the Kre-O continuity family.

Zape is a giant gorilla. His relationship with Banana Boy is unclear.

Zape was one of a number of Kreons trapped in detention by Dr. Mayhem. He and Banana Boy were the only captives who didn't attempt to escape, and were finally freed when Spock had Dr. Mayhem transported to an alien planet.
