Gremlins are a mythical creature from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.
OK, who forgot the "don't feed them after midnight" rule?

Gremlins are small mischievous creatures commonly blamed for mechanical faults. They don't really exist, or do they?

Fiction

Rescue Bots cartoon

When they were young, Graham and Dani told stories about gremlins to Kade in retaliation for him being so bossy. Years later, the topic came up again when the pair jokingly blamed gremlins for a plane crash, resulting in Kade having a nightmare about the creatures. Seeking help, he went to Doc Greene, who had him use the Nightmare Imaging Device. This machine materialized the gremlins using energy and crystal particles, however it turned out that the machine was insufficient to contain the gremlins, and they broke out into the laboratory. Though as Doc Greene predicted, the gremlins began to disappear once they ran out of power, it turned out that they had the ability to draw power from electrical devices. The gremlins were able to sustain themselves that way, and headed into Griffin Rock where they caused more havoc. Though the Rescue Bots dealt with some of them, a group of gremlins headed for the power plant and began to feed on it, until Kade succeeded in overcoming his nightmares and shut the plant down. The remaining gremlins puffed out of existence. Blame the Gremlins
