Daisuke Gōri

Daisuke Gōri (郷里大輔 Gōri Daisuke, real name: 長堀芳夫 Nagahori Yoshio) was a Japanese voice actor. He was born on February 8, 1952 in Tokyo, Japan. He was employed by the talent agency Aoni Production. He died after committing suicide on January 17, 2010, at the age of 57.[1]

He usually played big dumb lugs, like his role as Mr. Satan (aka Hercule) and Turtle in Dragon Ball Z or Sloth from the Japanese dub of The Goonies. Some other roles include Lord Zedd from the Japanese dub of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, Heihachi Mishima from the Tekken series, Robin Mask from Kinnikuman/Ultimate M.U.S.C.L.E., Cobra Bubbles from the Japanese dub of Lilo & Stitch, Vigo the Carpathian from the Japanese dub of Ghostbusters II, Roadblock from the Japanese dub of G.I. Joe: The Movie and Yosemite Sam from the Japanese dub of Looney Tunes.
