The Protectobots formed Defensor when the Combaticons, refusing to return Metroplex's stolen transformation cog, attacked them in the form of Bruticus. Defensor proceeded to knock out the Decepticon combiner with a single Scramble Punch. Bad at Fighting? Rescue Team Protectobots, Dispatch!

Part of the second wave of Kreon Micro-Changer combiner sets, Defensor comes as a set of four component Kreons: Blades, First Aid, Hot Spot, and Streetsmart. The Kreons can be built into their robot modes or their vehicle modes, or they can be built into Defensor by taking them apart and combining their pieces. Defensor dual-wields Hot Spot's guns.
