Ark-7

Ark-7 is an Autobot starship from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Ark-7 is one of a fleet of numbered Autobot ships designated Ark. They are presumably named after the first legendary lost Ark. It is identical in outward appearance to Ark-27 and Ark-32.

The Ark-7 was the ship chosen by Optimus Prime to go to Earth to search for Alpha Trion. Upon arriving at the planet, the ship was greeted by a volley of wall-burrowing missiles that the ship's deflectors couldn't defend against and a detection system that ghost shields were useless against. To continue the mission, Optimus Prime ordered Jetfire to set the ship in orbit of the far side of the moon (much to Jetfire's chagrin) and boarded Sky Lynx alongside Prowl, Sideswipe, Kup, Arcee and Jaws Jazz with the intention of reaching the planet's surface through other means.
