Matrix Half

I don't have TDOOP on-hand to check, but I distinctly remember Bumblebee and Rodimus getting half of the depleted core of the Matrix; there was a scene of Prime holding these two smooth half-spheres, then giving them to the two, who look at each other confusedly/worriedly. Did he also give them the containers? I'd shout "ERROR!" at the scene as depicted here but, again, I can't remember if they did, indeed, get the halves of the containers, too.
