Part of the first wave of Bot Shots, Barricade is a teeny little police car with a spring-loaded automatic transformation to robot mode triggered when his front bumper is pressed. He has a "spinner" in his chest that shows his three attack types and power levels. His robot mode is heavily based on the live-action movie Barricade, though run through a bit of an original cartoon filter.
This mold was also used to make Prowl. His main car body, arms and legs were also used to make Bumblebee, Lockdown, Mirage and Topspin.

A redeco of the original Barricade mold in orange and yellow, this version of Barricade was available in a five-pack with similar redecos of Megatron, Shockwave, Starscream and Lockdown.

BeCool "American Patrol Car" is practically identical to the original Bot Shots Barricade toy, the only difference being that his stickers don't depict power levels but instead drawings of a lightbar, a traffic light and a stop sign.
