Stinger is a Decepticon from the Age of Extinction portion of the live-action film series continuity family.

  Stinger is a Decepticon created by a government company along with Galvatron and many other "artificial" Decepticons. He is also modeled after Bumblebee. 

Just like the other "artificial" Decepticons, Stinger transforms through a sort-of mass shifting. Where his current mode turns into particles, then re-forms into the desired shape. Which is usually his robot mode or his Pagani Huayra vehicle mode.
