The Stinger prototype was being displayed in the KSI headquarters when Cade, Shane, and Bumblebee sneak in. A nearby video add promoting Stinger claimed that it was inspired by Bumblebee, but better. Bumblebee took great offense to it, and knocked down one of the inactive prototypes. Later, Stinger was deployed with Galvatron to chase down the Autobots. When Galvatron assumed command of the prototypes, Stinger appears in the battle in Hong Kong. During the battle Bumblebee finally destroyed him and one who's head was then eaten by a Dinobot. A smug Bumblebee remarked "I hate cheap knock-offs"- a reference to how the Stinger is a knock-off of him. Transformers: Age of Extinction (film)
