Knucklehead is a Decepticon from the Age of Extinction portion of the live-action film continuity family.

Knucklehead is a Decepticon through-and-through, and believes the same of his best friend Drift. He isn't cruel, though, and won't just sit by and watch as his comrades attempt to murder helpless prisoners.

Fiction

Titan Magazines Age of Extinction comics

Knucklehead was part of a three-man strike team along with Drift and Lockdown attempting to raid an Autobot stronghold in 2006. He incapacitated several Autobot soldiers before helping Drift prevent Lockdown from murdering two prisoners. The bounty hunter proceeded to beat the living daylights out of the poor guy for his trouble. When Drift knocked Lockdown into the fortress' molten moat, the 'con swore revenge against the two.

Some time later (earlier?), Knucklehead was among the Decepticons accompanying Sentinel Prime on the Ark. When he was prevented from heeding Megatron's call to Earth for some reason, Lockdown made good on his promise and skewered the unfortunate bot. Upon finding his old friend's corpse, Drift made him a grave Adrift in Time and Space

Notes

  • If Knucklehead was still active on Cybertron in 2006, how did he get onto a spaceship that crashed on Earth's moon in 1961? Either he has time travel capabilities, or, more likely, the writer seriously messed up the timescale.
