M.T.O.
M.T.Os or Made to Order Soldiers are a type of Transformer from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family
Made to Order Soldiers are Cold Constructed soldiers who where commissioned by Autobot High Command in response to several of Megatron's military campaigns. They are named after the military campaign they were commissioned in response to.
Known M.T.Os include:
- Ammo
- Dipstick of Operation: Doom Patrol
- Getaway of the Corcaspia Incursion
- Riptide of Simanzian Dawn
- Scattergun of the Vorsk Offensive

Before they were sent into battle M.T.Os had to go through a Ten-Step program that ensured that they had sufficient knowledge, this was eventually cut down to only Three Steps.
Ammo was constructed in response to an attack on K'th Kinsere.
Riptide was constructed as a Hydrobot in response to an event called the Forced Flood.
With members of the Lost Light's crew disappearing rapidly, Nightbeat attempted to link the disappearances by method of construction. Despite it being unnecessary Getaway revealed to everyone else present that he was a M.T.O constructed in response to the Corcaspia Incursion, this prompted the other M.T.Os on the Rodpod (Ammo, Dipstick and Riptide) to reveal the events that they were constructed in response to.
The amount of M.T.Os on the ship made Nautica muse that a lot of Autobots owed their lives to Megatron. Twenty Plus One
