Quintus Prime

Quintus Prime is one of the Thirteen. He was the scientist among the group, and the creator of the Quintessons. His artifact was the Emberstone.

According to legend, at the beginning of time, Unicron and Primus battled each other for eons, with neither side remaining victorious for long. Till, that is, Primus created the Thirteen. These Thirteen defeated Unicron and cast him into space. One Shall Rise, Part 1

The Covenant of Primus

Quintus was one of the thirteen transformers created by Primus to fight against Unicron. his artifact was the Emberstone. Quintus was one of the Strategists of the Thirteen alongside Alpha Trion, Micronus and Liege Maximo.

After Unicron's defeat, Quintus drifted freely between the cliques formed in the group alongside Alchemist and Thirteen.

After Maximo revealed that Prima had been plotting how likely each member of the Thirteen was likely to be corrupted by Unicron's presence, it was revealed that Quintus had worked alongside Maximo and Megatronus to create new robot beasts- Prima was suspicious of these beasts and ordered the three to shut down the "Farm". A conflict broke out between the Thirteen over whether or not Maximo had the rights to create new life- a conflict that eventually came to a head when Thirteen demanded a full vote on the matter.

The vote came to a tie until Solus Prime voted against allowing Maximo to create new beasts. After Megatronus accidently killed Solus, Quintus was among the members of the Thirteen that demanded that Megatronus be found and made to pay for his crime and the group were surprised when Solus' dead body began to glow blue and melted an opening to the deep core of Primus- The Well of All Sparks.

When Maximo was confronted at the "Farm" Quintus refused to accept any personal responsibility for the beasts created, the Thirteen then proceeded to fight and fell into the caverns with the beasts- it is unknown what Quintus did in the battle against the creatures.

With the Age of Primes over Quintus went into space to seed life to create to act as allies for the new race the rest of the Thirteen would create. Among these races would be a race that would less than friendly with Primus' new creations- the Quintessons.
