Lucas met up with Cade at the old theater in Paris, Texas in attempt to find salvage to sell but despite being the inventor's employee Lucas still had to pay for the salvage. While in the theater Lucas discussed the memories he had of the place with Cade before being knocked over by a football.
Lucas later helped Cade haul a rusty old truck that the pair had found in theater back to the Yeager Farm and complained when Tessa revealed that he would not be getting his money back from Cade due to Yeager Advanced Robotics having no money left. When the argument between Tessa and Cade went into the barn robotics workshop, Lucas attempted to use Cade's "Butler Bot" to get a can of beer but was he disappointed when the robot stopped halfway.
Lucas returned the next day to find that Cade had been in the barn all night and was shocked when it was revealed that the rusty truck that Cade had bought was, in fact, a transformer. Lucas attempted to convince Cade to call the government number for any transformer sightings to get the $25,000 reward but was unable to and was instead forced to help the inventor repair the truck. Lucas was knocked in the head by Prime's gun when the Autobot Commander was revived.
Lucas was sent by Cade to retrieve a list of items to repair Prime but instead called the CIA to report the Transformer activity- unaware that Cemetery Wind would be scrambled to retrieve the Autobot. Lucas attempted to escape from the Cemetery Wind agents as James Savoy threatened Tessa in an attempt to discern the location of Optimus Prime and later tried to escape with when Shane Dyson arrived. During the chase, he continually commented on the fact that they would not get their money, ignorant of the life threatening situation they were in.
When they attempted to flee Shane's car and reach Optimus, Lucas' foot bacme stuck under the seat and he he fell behind the others. He managed to get free but was incinerated by a cyberforming grenade thrown by Lockdown and was turned into Transformium. What remained of him was a horrific corpse-looking metal statue in mid stride. Age of Extinction
