Caminus (planet)
- Caminus is a Metrotitan from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Caminus was one of the Titans created by the Knights of Cybertron millions of years ago to act as a living ship. He is also the source of all but one of the known Female Transformers in the IDW Generation 1 continuity.
He has a face similar to Japanese Kabuki theatre makeup.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
Millions of years ago, Caminus set off from Cybertron to colonize new worlds - like all other Titans, Caminus contained a hot spot filled with unborn sparks. Some time later Caminus landed on a world and used the hot spot to create a new civilization of Cybertronians. Over time, this colony lost touch with Cybertron and the local population adapted to include a concept of gender. It was during this time that cityspeakers started to learn how to read the brains of Titans such as Caminus and painted their faces in honor of him. Some time in the recent past, Thunderclash visited Caminus in the hope of finding someone capable of healing Metroplex. The Camiens sent Windblade, Chromia and Nautica on this sacred task. Notes
- Even though we have never seen Caminus' robot mode, it can be assumed that his face is similar to Windblade's, as Cityspeakers paint their faces in honor of him.
- Caminus' name is Latin for forge - an appropriate name, as he is the source of most female Transformers in the IDW continuity.
