- Swindle is a Decepticon from the Kre-O continuity family.
Once his fellow Combaticons are done breaking Autobots down into their component blocks, Swindle is ready to sell the leftovers for profit! He and the rest of his team can form Bruticus.

Summoned by Starscream to act as his elite squad (whose first mission, of course, was to overthrow Megatron), Swindle rolled onto the scene alongside Onslaught, Brawl and a repainted Vortex. When Onslaught and Brawl declared their specialties (strategy and destruction respectively), Swindle proudly offered to sell-off any blocks they recovered. Like Onslaught and Brawl, Swindle was irritated when Vortex offered to stay behind and guard the base. Even though the Combaticons combined into Bruticus, Vortex constant worry for the base's safety compelled the team to withdraw. When Starscream, under imminent threat of a beating from Megatron, contacted the team to demand to know where they were, Swindle joined his teammates in happily informing their illustrious leader they were all protecting the base together. Aww. New Military Unit Combaticon! Bruticus, Combine!
Swindle was able to steal Metroplex's transformation cog, but his looking forward to being rewarded was interrupted when the Protectobots tracked him down to take back his loot. He combined with his team to form Bruticus, but was defeated by the Protectobots' own combined form, Defensor, and taken back to the Autobot base to have his injuries treated by the gentle First Aid. - Swindle comes as part of the Bruticus Micro-Changer combiner set, and can be rebuilt from his robot mode into a jeep. He can also contribute his bricks to form Bruticus. His chest deco, sans parts, is mainly based on his cartoon appearance. Interestingly, he is the only one in the set to be based on how he looks in the comics and cartoon, because his fellow Combaticons look like their toys instead.
Notes
- The Kre-O comic upped Swindle's resemblance to the G1 character model by giving him bigger eyes and adding his weapon to his arm.
