- Joshua Joyce is a human from the Age of Extinction portion of the live-action film series continuity family.
The technologies industry attracts, and indeed would not exist in the first place without, brilliant and determined inventors. However, the cutthroat forces of the modern world economy often push these geniuses into a state of narrow focus, trying to develop the next big thing without properly considering consequences or moral and ethical ramifications. Joshua Joyce, head of Kinetic Solutions Incorporated, is one of those who fell into this trap in his quest to create a line of human-made remote-controlled Transformers. But underneath, there may still be some good in him.

Notes
- Joshua serves as a secondary antagonist during the first segment of the movie and a protagonist for the second half.
- He has many similarities with Simmons from the first three films, they are both intelligent, Both have important jobs, Both serve as Antagonists and then Protagonists and both serve a comic-relief role in the plot. Also the both like to keep heads.
- It is implied after the events of Age of Extinction, Joshua supplied the Yeagers with a new home, possibly one which caters too the Autobots as well.
