Eva-01 is a biomechanical construct from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Eva-01 (エヴァ初号機 Eva Shogōki) is a giant mecha employed by NERV to defend New Tokyo-3 from Angels.

Fiction

Transformers X Evangelion

Eva-01 was deployed by Misato Katsuragi in response to the battle between Optimus Prime's Autobots and "Angel"-scream. Mode "Eva" chapter 2 When Prime met the Eva, he recognized it as a living being rather than a robot, sensing it to be emitting a "call of the primitives". He proceeded to scan it, adopting its great size and color scheme in the continued fight against "Angel"-scream. Mode "Eva" chapter 3


Notes

  • Eva-01 is the flagship mecha of the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. Its pilot, main character Shinji Ikari, goes unmentioned in the Transformers X Evangelion story.
