José Sant'anna

| The name or term "José" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see José (disambiguation). |
José Sant'anna is a Brazilian voice actor. He is one of the most recognized voice actors in Brazil, having been in the business since the 1970s.
For the Brazilian dub of the original Transformers series, he voiced Starscream. His delivery was so dead on to Chris Latta's that many people still don't believe he also played Duke from G.I. Joe, for whom he used his natural, more masculine voice.
In addition to the above, his cartoon voice over roles include Two-Face in Batman: The Animated Series, the Joker in the movie Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, and the narrator in Silverhawks; he is the current voice of Fat Tony on The Simpsons, Dwayne in Over the Hedge and a gazillion more characters. He became famous playing the narrator on Superfriends where he delivered the popular line "Later... on the Hall of Justice" in such an awesome way that nerds all over Brazil still repeat it on the most stupid occasions.
In movies, he played Chuck Norris many times and was also Snow, on the über-cool classic The Warriors. In the realm of live-action TV, he played Frank Black on Millennium and was also the voice of Willie Tanner on Alf.
Yep, he was! And he was awesome!
