Flight Pod
- Flight Pods are vehicles from the G.I. Joe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Flight Pods, also known as "Trouble Bubbles", are floating one-man vehicles used by Cobra. The pods, which are little more than flying chairs with windshields, are very maneuverable and are generally used for patrolling and recon missions. However, Cobra Commander is hardly one to skimp on weaponry, and all Flight Pods carry machine guns, missiles and air mines just in case they run into G.I. Joe.

After Cobra captured and reprogrammed a number of deactivated Transformers, they modified the Autobots Gears and Brawn to transform into Flight Pods. G.I. Transformers/G.I. Joe
When G.I. Joe attacked Cobra's New York City-based smuggling facility in 1984, Destro retaliated with his never-before-seen Flight Pod technology. While the Joes were completely overwhelmed by the weird sci-fi-like machines, Destro and Scrap-Iron fled aboard Destro's personal Flight Pod, thereby avoiding capture yet again.
