Fiction

Age of Extinction Film

As Cade, Tessa, and Shane fled Lockdown's ship, Lockdown sent in multiple Steeljaws to find and kill them. Cade picked them off while Shane and Tessa crossed the ship's anchor wires. When some of the Steeljaws attempted to terminate the humans, the others chewed through the wires and eventually broke them. However, all of their chewing went to waste as the trio was rescued by Bumblebee. Age of Extinction

Notes

  • A preliminary name for the Steeljaws seems to have been 'Wolves', appearing on a Topps trading card and in toy listings leaked via Hasbro's customer service website.[1]
  • Some reports from Toy Fair 2014 suggested the existence of a Dino Sparkers toy featuring Lockdown, which the aforementioned leak suggests would have featured a 'Wolf' as the mount. Ultimately, this product was never officially revealed or solicited for release.
  • Steeljaw's bio on the Hasbrotoyshop listing for his One-Step toy seems to treat him like most other Steeljaws and labels him erroneously as an Autobot.
