[edit]- This was the first appearance of Animated Barricade, albeit in text form. His later inclusion in Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II, complete with an illustration based on the live-action movie Barricade, is probably complete coincidence!
- Mentions of Barricade and Sector 7 indicate borrowing of concepts from the movie continuity.
- There are two versions of the cover. A variant cover labels it as "Book 1".
