The battle of the Space Bridge continues...
Synopsis
[edit]Megatron gloats over the fallen Starscream clones, as he has bested every one of them. Professor Sumdac remains trapped inside the Headmaster unit as Megatron clutches Starscream's severed head and contacts Shockwave. He orders his servant to activate the space bridge.
Suddenly, Sari and Ratchet arrive in the Orion. Annoyed, Megatron orders the beaten clones to fight or be destroyed and the clones obey. Ratchet activates "Code Omega" and Omega Supreme transforms to robot mode, terrifying the clones (particularly Skywarp). With a single blast, Omega devastates all of the clones.
At the ruins of the Decepticon base, the space bridge isn't working; Shockwave explains that the power source was never installed. Megatron doesn't fret, as he realizes he has a perfectly good power source in hand: Starscream and his AllSpark fragment. Mixmaster installs Starscream's head and the space bridge activates.
Bulkhead tries and fails to warn the Decepticons, as the AllSpark fragment contains too much power and causes the space bridge to overload; sucking in everything around it. Optimus Prime sees this as his only chance and dashes toward the distracted Megatron. Prime slaps a pair of stasis cuffs on him and then kicks him in the jaw, sending the Decepticon hurtling into the space bridge.
The overload is reaching critical, however, and only Omega Supreme sees a way to stop it. Jumping into the portal, Omega explains that he will absorb the energy and extinguish the overload. Ratchet pleads with him not to, not now that they'd just been reunited. Omega explains that it is the only way, thanks him and bids farewell. The bridge explodes and Omega vanishes.
The Autobots escape the collapsing cave and bid Omega a heartfelt goodbye. Sari is reunited with her father and everything seems peachy... until Bumblebee notices that Sari's torn flesh now reveals a robotic interior! Sari is frightened, leaving a grim Professor Sumdac with some explaining to do.
