The ghost appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
Following the ghost of the past, Dreadwind was visited by the ghost of the present in his room at the Marvel UK offices. The ghost resembled the current letters page answerer Blaster and told Dreadwind that his bitterness was destroying him. Dreadwind's Xmas!

- The ghost of the present is an obvious reference to the Ghost of Christmas Present from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
- His speech to Dreadwind quoted above is almost directly lifted from Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche.
