The amnesiac Bots have to help the Burns family save Griffin Rock.
Synopsis

Doctor Morocco makes a journal entry noting his recent woes, including the fact that Madeline Pynch has taken off with his Nemo submarine, and his Chamber of Youth along with it. Unfortunately he's unable to reach the amnesiac Rescue Bots over the comms, and what's worse, his shark sub loses power. The Rescue Bots are confused by the Burns family, whom they were told were criminals but are being nice to them. Blades gives the order to grab the humans, but before they can do so, the entire island shakes and a huge wave rolls in. The Rescue Bots instinctively protect the Burnses. Confused by the fact the water isn't receding, and that the Bots are missing their memories, the Burns family invites them back to the fire station to contact Optimus Prime. The suspicious Rescue Bots agree, but are not trusting enough to let the humans ride in them.

Below ground, the tunnels under Griffin Rock are starting to collapse, resulting in waves moving into the town and a truck crash. Huxley Prescott tries to interview the amnesiac Mayor, but gets a confused response and a promise to contact Professor Plummer at the lab. The rescue team arrives back at the fire station, and the Rescue Bots are surprised to find their equipment down in the bunker. Though they're unable to contact Optimus, a picture from their one-year anniversary convinces the Bots that the Burns family are on the level and they fill the humans in on Doc Morocco's machinations. Mention of the phasing tech reminds Chief that Doc Greene discovered he'd been developing the tech for Madeline Pynch. They quickly realize that the methane explosion triggered by the Bots has caused a chain reaction and the island is sinking.

While the team scrambles, the water slowly rises over Griffin Rock, resulting in the burning truck hitting a building where two people are stranded on the roof. The team heads out to help, and while Blades grabs the people from the roof, the others extinguish both building and truck. Blades drops the pair off along with the other citizens of Griffin Rock who are heading for higher ground. The team meets back at the fire house and puzzle over how to stop the sinking. Cody suggests using the same foam they used to reinforce the rail tunnel, which is still intact. Before they can head to the lab, Morocco floats up on his disabled sub. Unfortunately for him, the Rescue Bots now know the truth, and he reveals he can restore the Bots' memories if he gets access to the contents of the Nemo. With a choice between catching the Nemo or helping the island and maybe not getting their memories back, the Rescue Bots choose the island.

The rescue team heads to the lab, where Doc Greene and Frankie are able to supply them with foam mines and Phase Bits. Meanwhile, off the coast of the island, the Nemo is taking on water, forcing Madeline Pynch to evacuate in an escape pod. The rescue team uses the phasing tech to reach the underground tunnels, though Heatwave is surprised to find he has a new boat mode. The team soon has the foam mines distributed along the caves under the island, and Doc Greene triggers them. The foam rapidly expands, raising the island back up. The townspeople celebrate, while down at the shore, Morocco discovers the Nemo washed up on the beach. He uses the chamber inside to restore his youth, but is caught by the rescue team on disembarking again. They soon have him attempting to use his device to try and restore the Bots' memories, but it doesn't seem to work. Morocco is promptly slapped in jail. The Burns family try showing the Bots all sorts of photos and home movies, but it's not until they go for a game of Rescue Ball that their lost memories suddenly return to cheers all round.

Notes
Animation and technical errors
Continuity errors
Continuity notes
- Morocco's giant sub, the Nemo, first appeared in the previous episode, but now gets a name.
- The rail tunnel was first seen in "The Griffin Rock Express".
Transformers references
- As in previous episodes where the Rescue Bots were unable to contact Optimus Prime, he was likely engaged elsewhere. As this season of Rescue Bots takes place during the second season of "Transformers Prime", it's possible he is off on one of the hunts for the Iacon relics that took up much of that season.
Real-world references
- The Nemo's name is likely a reference to submarine captain Nemo from the Jules Verne novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
