Joseph Sorokin (born March 3, 1923) is a sound editor. He started out in the late 50s, and worked on Steve Canyon. During the 60s, he worked on many Desilu productions, including The Untouchables, Mission: Impossible, The Lucy Show, and Mannix. He was one of three main sound editors on Star Trek, creating many of the unique sound effects on that show.[1] In 1970 he suddenly[2] moved to Atlanta, working as a sale executive and passing a course at law college. After returning to LA ten years later, he resumed working as a sound editor on cartoons including The Transformers, G.I. Joe, and My Little Pony 'n Friends and the live-action series Knots Landing.
