The Dome of Invulnerability is a force field from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Dome of Invulnerability is a dome-shaped force field of Sub-Atlantican design. It appears to be vaguely pink in color and "doors" can be opened in it to allow passage in and out. It's not as invulnerable as its name suggests.

Sub-Atlantica appeared to have a Dome of Invulnerability protecting it. During their invasion of Washington, D.C., Megatron ordered a Sub-Atlantican to raise the Dome of Invulnerability. The Autobots were only just able to get within the dome's radius as it raised and sealed off a section of the city. Nergill later opened a small section to allow himself entry, and Bumblebee, Wheeljack and Spike sneaked in behind him. The Dinobots arrived outside the dome in response to a call from Wheeljack, and were able to simply smash their way through it. Once breached, the whole dome collapsed. Atlantis, Arise!
