The pool was in use when a giant rampaging blob of Squilsh arrived and consumed the contents, including the swimmers and their pool equipment. The Squilsh then settled down in the pool to grow, and was mistaken for excessively-algae-ridden water by Kade Burns when the Burns family arrived. As the Squilsh attacked them, Graham Burns and Boulder enacted a cunning plan to use the pool's external power supply to shock the Squilsh. The Squilsh exploded, leaving the pool's patrons safe and sound, though the pool itself needed refilling. You've Been Squilshed

Kade, Dani and Heatwave had to fish a snake out of the pool after a bunch of serpents were released in town. Buddy System
