Mairghread Scott

Insecticon public enemy #1.

Mairghread Scott is a writer. A fan of Beast Wars in her youth, she was the writers' assistant on Transformers: Prime, and the production coordinator on G.I. Joe: Renegades. She is currently the writer of The Transformers: Windblade, digitally painted by Sarah Stone.

• Scott is the first woman to write an official Transformers comic.
• Scott has demonstrated an open ear to fans through her writing. Before The Transformers: Windblade came out, she wrote multiple blog posts discussing in detail about how Female Transformers would be handled in IDW, and addressed concerns about Arcee's origin from her Spotlight.
