The secrets of the Legendiscs are finally revealed and Isami and the Samurai Team retrieve a Legendisc from Bokuden Tsukahara. Returning to the present, they find themselves attacked by the revived Dragotron!
Synopsis
With an explosion, Judora and Gaidora are suddenly outside, with the revived Dragotron looming over them. The Predacon leader announces he will destroy the Swordbots. Elsewhere, Optimus Prime detects Dragotron's awakening.
Isami Tatewaki and the Swordbot Samurai Team discuss what they've learned about the legendiscs — they each include safeties which will cause the legendisc to time slip if it detects hostile thoughts. Isami reasons that if they don't fight the Predacons next time they find a disc, they'll be able to retain it, and though the Swordbots are aghast at the idea of fleeing from the enemy, they see his logic. Isami's legendisc glows, and once the team rushes to the location it has indicated, they experience another time shift.
In the past, Isami and his Autobot trio find themselves standing by a home, which Isami identifies from an inscription as that of master swordsman Bokuden Tsukahara. Inside, Tsukahara appears to be sleeping, but Isami spies the legendisc he's after. Reaching out to take it, he decides it would be better to wait for Tsukahara to awaken and discuss the matter with him first. Tsukahara isn't sleeping though, and asks why Isami didn't just take the disc. When Isami says he needs it to protect his home, Tsukahara poses him a question: What is true strength. Isami's response that he wants to become strong to protect his friends and family satisfies Tsukahara, who turns over the disc. Once Isami returns to the Autobots, they are returned to the future in a blaze of light.
They're just wondering where the Predacons are hiding when Gaidora and Judora appear in front of them with the news that Dragotron has awakened. Moments later Dragotron himself lands behind the two Oni. The Swordbots combine into GoKenzan, only to be immediately swatted out of the air by Dragotron's weapon. Meanwhile a blazing form comes streaking down into Earth's atmosphere and, flying alongside a bullet train, turns into a train itself. The Predacons blast away at GoKenzan, and just as Isami laments that all is lost, glowing train tracks strike Gaidora and Judora aside, moments before the train itself lands next to GoKenzan. The train reveals itself to be Optimus Exprime - Optimus in a new form. Dragotron pours energy into his two Oni servants, causing them to grow, however they flail about while trying to attack Optimus, who transforms into a dragon and engages Dragotron in a dragon duel. Finally Optimus assumes robot mode and stands ready to fight alongside GoKenzan.

Trivia
