Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday is an upcomming novel that serves as prequel to the live-action Transformers film. It is being written by David Cian.

Cian has said it will feature characters in the film, as well as ones who are not, and some that might be in future films. The action takes place in different periods, including the 1800s, but the bulk of the story is set in the 1960s.
