Flatline makes sure his comrades don't flatline by shooting them with his healing Simulus Pistols. He can also use the pistols' Trans-Shift S-tech, which reinforces his fellow Decepticon's hull, reducing the amount of damage they take.

Tip: Use Trans-Shift on an ally just before they charge into a group of enemies - it will reduce the amount of damage they receive.
