Born in prehistoric times, Ira is unable to speak English and is confused by the trappings of modern life. Though gentle natured, he is easy to spook and tends to dash off a lot. He absolutely loves Autobots though.

Ira and his tribe were befriended by some Autobots. The Autobots saved the tribe from some meteors, however in the process Ira became frozen in a cave on Wayward Island, and the bots provided him with an energon necklace to keep him safe. Thousands of years later, Ira was found in the modern day by Griffin Rock's rescue team, and he was thawed and returned to life. Dubbing him Ira, the team attempted to help him acclimate to modern life, however the image of a meteor on television sent him into a panic and he fled, ending up at the caveman exhibit at the natural history museum. During a subsequent visit to the lab, visiting investor Mrs Dumont dropped by with the Mayor, and the team tried to cover for Ira by claiming that he was one of Doc Greene's colleagues from out of town, however this resulted in Ira being invited to a formal dinner at the Mayor's house. Dressed in Kade's Sunday best, Ira's table manners left much to be desired, and when the Mayor surprised the dinner party with fireworks, Ira was spooked and scaled a nearby radio tower. Realizing he was never going to be able to adapt fully, the team returned him to Wayward Island where he seemed much happier. Did You See What I Thaw?
