The Charlton appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

To take her son on a "vacation" and distract him from his obsession with the Transformers, Jennifer Phillips took Danny to the Charlton. Danny, however, was bored there, as there was little to do during the winter. In his wandering on the nearby beach, Danny ran into the Transformers again and was witness to a battle that destroyed the Charlton. The experience left his dreams of the supposedly peace-bringing robots dashed. The Return of the Transformers
