Lord Imperious Delirious invites Trans-Mutate and Rampage to dinner.

Synopsis

Lord Imperious Delirious admonishes Medusa and Bruton on their rough treatment of their guests and helps Trans-Mutate to her feet, while asking what it is they consume. Trans-Mutate and Rampage soon have their fill of energon, but the former has questions for their host, principally who he is and what he wants with them. Delirious explains that he and the other Destructons are "second-born intellects" — artificial life forms constructed by other races but abused or mistreated by their creators and are now liberated. He hopes the pair will join them.

While Trans-Mutate is wary of Lord Imperious Delirious's words, Rampage is considering staying as he feels he may at last found his own kind. Trans-Mutate points out the inconsistencies in Delirious's story, and the latter admits he did merely intend to salvage the Cybertronian prison ship for technology and troops. When Trans-Mutate insists she and Rampage wish to leave, Lord Imperious Delirious insists equally as strongly that the pair belong to him, and revealing his true and horrible visage, subjects them to his Delirious Fire.

Quotes

Lord Imperious Delirious: What is it you eat?
Rampage: ...Torment...
Trans-Mutate: Energon.
Lord Imperious Delirious: Energon! Yes! Psychokhan! Fetch them energon. They've had enough of the big one's choice of foodstuff, I think.

"What say you... Rampage?"
"I do not like that name."
"What does it matter to you? It isn't yours. Pick whatever you like, though something sharp and intimidating is always best."

"It is always the political types that cause trouble. Why couldn't a nice vivisectionist have crash-landed instead?"
